Dr Martin Kaonga, a double PhD-qualified pastor, theologian and scientist, has a strong teaching ministry. He is also passionate about creation care.
Dr Martin Kaonga, a pastor, theologian and carbon scientist, has ministered in Africa and the United Kingdom for over 26 years. He has a PhD in Christian Apologetics (Science and Religion) and another in Earth Sciences (Carbon biogeochemistry). His strong background in theology and science enables him to help Christians and unbelievers to understand how science and faith complement each other to enhance a holistic understanding of the physical and metaphysical aspects of our world. Dr Kaonga has also worked in academia and in the corporate, NGO, and Consultancy sectors. He is passionate about Christians fulfilling the cultural mandate to care for God's creation, and how it should shape our approach to sharing the gospel of our Lord, Jesus Christ.
